HOW IT ALL BEGAN
I think Aussies are the perfect breed for my lifestyle. They were everything I wanted in a dog. Intelligent, active without being manic, great with kids, and absolutely gorgeous. Once I decided on the breed, I had to wait 7 years before I could have one! It was years of working toward the goal of being in the perfect position to finally adopt a fur child. I watched the shelters for years waiting for my dream dog, a mini aussie, to come through the shelter. To my surprise, I never once saw a mini aussie come through the shelter. That wasn't going to stop me from getting my dream dog, so I finally started looking for breeders. Those were hard to find as well, with waitlists that were often years out. I finally found a breeder, did my time on the waitlist, and placed a deposit on my dream dog. I decided that if it was that difficult for me to find my dream dog, there were likely many more people in the same position. I love this breed so much that I wanted to give other families the opportunity to get their dream dog as well. So, I began doing my homework and learning everything I could about the breed. I decided at the onset of my breeding journey that I would never dock a tail. To this day, I have never docked a tail and never will. I have loved watching my puppies bring joy to their families just like my first aussie brought me.
